With LeBron James gearing up for his 24th season, a recent open-run clip of him has led fans to question his age. Bricking several shots and missing several 3-pointers and jump shots, it wasn’t the best one-minute compilation of the NBA legend.

After eight seasons with the Lakers, James will now head to Philadelphia to play for the 76ers. The clip may dampen 76ers fans' title hopes.

“LeBron James putting up absolute BRICKS in open runs,” the X post read. 

James’ clip, posted on X, is from a session at Crespi High School, California. The original video runs for more than an hour, in which the forward put up a decent show.

However, the one-minute fails clip did not stop NBA fans from roasting the legend. 

Fans roast James over his bricked shots

Fans were left in shock after watching James' open-run session alongside several other NBA standouts. The four-time NBA champion was recorded bricking most of his shots.

“I’m crine all those shots wasn’t close to going in” wrote an X user.

Another NBA fan pointed out that the 22-time NBA All-Star has a reason not to play open runs. 

“this why he don’t do open runs lmaoooooo no skill,” wrote an NBA fan.

Time and again, the Warriors have actively pursued a trade for James. During his 2026 offseason free agency, they publicly confirmed their pursuit.

However, a fan stated they were fortunate in missing out on the four-time MVP.

“Warriors dodged a bullet,” commented an X user.

With James' arrival, the 76ers are among the favorites to win an NBA championship. The tweet made the fans think otherwise.

“We supposed to be scared of Philly,” wrote another X user.

Another fan brought up the often-contested GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and James. They had a clear reason to side with the six-time NBA champion.

“Jordan at his age now would never,” commented an X user.

A one-minute clip was enough to stir NBA fans to roast one of the NBA legends. James will look to shut down his critics as soon as the season begins.
