Indiana Pacers star Caitlin Clark, in a recent conversation, declared Nikola Jokic her favorite player of all time, and his response? Pure, vintage Joker.

On 29th March, Clark joined the NBC’s Basketball Night in Oklahoma City, and while previewing Nuggets vs Golden State, she praised Jokic’s brilliance in the game, “I mean, there aren’t many people that average a triple-double…. So it’s pretty incredible, and honestly, he’s probably my favorite player to watch. And I think he’s the best player in the world.”

Jokic found out about the praise during his post-game press conference, when a reporter brought it up to him. His response was nothing but a classic Joker moment: “We have the same agent. That’s why she said it.”

Indeed, both Jokic and Clark are represented by Excel Sports Management, headed by NBA agent Jeff Schwartz. Jokic’s response came after the Nuggets decimated the Warriors with a 116–93 victory last night.

After missing 16 games due to a left knee hyperextension and bone bruise, Jokic returned in mid-March and has been phenomenal since. Against the Warriors, he recorded 25 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists, falling short of a fifth consecutive triple-double.

“It was a good response by us,” he noted. “I think that the first half was not that bad. Maybe we couldn’t make shots. I don’t know, it’s just part of the game. In that second half, we were much better. The intensity, the energy, the running, shooting, at the end we made 19 threes, so it’s definitely helping us when we shoot like that.”

Well, as the Nuggets focus on solidifying their record, the Serbian believes that his team has found a rhythm, “We found a way. think we played some interesting games and some games with a lot of points, and we just found a way to win a game.”

They will come back on Wednesday, when they face the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center. Will they be able to maintain their tempo? What do you think?
