Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has been the NBA’s highest earner for years, but his latest paycheck has unlocked a financial milestone no player in league history has ever touched.
"Stephen Curry holds the record for being the highest-paid NBA player for 10 consecutive seasons," Polymarket Hoops reported on X.
The late NBA legend Kobe Bryant holds the second position as the highest-paid player in seven consecutive seasons.
Curry, a four-time NBA champion, signed the 2026 one-year veteran extension two years ago, worth $62.58 million.

The Warriors are willing to give Curry a two-year deal worth $136.7 million as a contract extension. Curry currently ranks third when it comes to being one of the highest-paid players in all-time salary earnings, with all-time earnings of $532 million at the time of writing.
But as reported by Polymarket Hoops, due to Curry's status as the league's highest-paid player and with the signing of this contract, he could eventually surpass Kevin Durant, who currently holds all-time earnings of $591 million.
This isn't all that Curry has achieved during these past few days. He has made the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame break its historic tradition of 75 years.
The Hall of Fame does the unthinkable involving Stephen Curry
In an official press release, the Hall of Fame made an announcement on July 21 that they would be having an exhibit for Curry, becoming the first-ever active NBA player to have an exhibit at the Hall of Fame.
"He changed the game for good. And now, he makes history yet again. Beginning this Friday, Stephen Curry will become the first active player EVER to have an exhibit at the @Hoophall," the Golden State Warriors posted on X.
The exhibit is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 24. Additionally, it will feature exclusive game-worn gear and Olympics- and championship-related artifacts.
The exhibit will be at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. It will also feature a video of Curry's journey from a college prodigy to achieving NBA superstar status.
With this achievement, Curry now holds two records that seem impossible to break.
