LeBron James' younger son, Bryce, has been making headlines off the court lately, and this time, it has nothing to do with basketball. The 18-year-old treated his mother, Savannah, to a luxury shopping spree that quickly caught the internet's attention.
The Instagram story clip shown by Savannah James featured a photo of Bryce sitting within a Goyard store amidst several green shopping bags tied with yellow ribbons.
The short video shows him adjusting the spectacles, holding his hands, and smiling before the camera. Savannah released the clip alongside "Spend Dat" by Yung Miami.
That description landed because it felt earned. One of the most exclusive luxury brands in the world, Goyard's tote bags can cost up to $1,500 or more.
Fans quickly took notice of the generous gift Bryce picked out for his mother.
The shopping outing comes during what has been a redshirt year for Bryce at the University of Arizona.
Bryce, a shooting guard for the Wildcats, sat out the 2025-26 season to concentrate on his physique, but he still played on a team that won the Big 12 regular-season program and tournament titles to play in the Final Four. He is expected to take an active role next season.
Over the years, the family bond of the Jameses has been well documented. LeBron and Savannah have been together since they were 16 and he was a high school student in 2004; families that have been seen and experienced by their children in their own unique way.
How LeBron and Savannah Built Their Relationship From the Ground Up
LeBron and Savannah's relationship has lasted over two decades, but it was far from a guaranteed success story.
They dated as young teens, and even from the start, the odds were against them. When Savannah got pregnant with their oldest son, Bronny, at age 16, the future of their relationship was truly up in the air.
On her podcast Everybody's Crazy, Savannah spoke openly about how one moment changed everything: "Obviously, LeBron got drafted to Cleveland when we was younger."
Savannah James added, “If I had to ask him, if he was sittin’ here…I think that he would say the same in like, ‘I don’t know what would have happened.’ So, thanks, Cleveland Cavaliers.”
There was so much more to that draft call from the Cleveland Cavaliers than just kick-starting a career in the NBA. It provided a young couple with stability and with the means to maintain a marriage and to create something real.
Two decades later, they have three children and a testament to the fact that they had built a strong foundation at a difficult time.
Comment down, do you think LeBron and Savannah raised their kids right?
