Watch: WNBA Star Paige Bueckers Spends Time With Fans at Spurs-OKC Game 7

The Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs pulled an all-time Game 7 thriller in Oklahoma. Hundreds of miles away from Dallas, WNBA star Paige Bueckers was in attendance at Paycom Center watching the Spurs defeat the defending champions.

San Antonio reached the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014, marking the franchise's first Finals trip in the Wembanyama era. Though Bueckers is a Dallas Mavericks fan, the Spurs-Thunder matchup was too important to pass up

On Saturday, she showed up in person. In a video posted by the NBA on X, the Dallas Wings star was seen posing for pictures for the Thunder fans before the game began.

The video showcased Bueckers interacting with the fans in the venue, taking pictures, and speaking to several OKC fans. She also posed for a picture with a toddler. The WNBA star wore a printed black hoodie and a pair of black jeans.

The 2025 first overall pick has been spotted at several NBA games in the past, most notably at Mavericks' games, spurring her team on to victory.

Unfortunately for Bueckers, the Mavericks missed the 2026 playoffs, leaving the Wings star to watch the highly anticipated Spurs-Thunder matchup

Bueckers had previously opened up about the Western Conference Finals and the physicality that had been on display throughout the series.

"Just the level of physicality, obviously the playoffs, there’s a rise in that, and so obviously watching the OKC and Spurs series, like it’s been really, really physical, and teams have made it tough."

Bueckers watched one of her favorite players, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and his team be ousted by a Texas team.

But there is one more name remaining in the NBA Finals that might push Bueckers to make yet another trip.

Paige Bueckers Names One Remaining Player in NBA Postseason She Likes Watching

Paige Bueckers has a legitimate argument for watching one of the best offensive players in the NBA. The Dallas Wings star notes that there are NBA players whom she also takes notes from, and singled out two names.

Bueckers cited Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Brunson as two players she studies closely. After the Wings’ practice session on Friday, Bueckers said that she took a lot from SGA’s game and his ability to get to his spot.

One remaining postseason player serves as her primary inspiration. Bueckers praised the New York Knicks guard.

“Watching Jalen Brunson and his footwork, I think I’ve learned a lot from that. His ability to not be the tallest, most athletic person on the floor, but his consistency in getting to his spots, getting to the rim, getting to the free-throw line and being aggressive that way. I really enjoy watching it.”

Brunson has been outstanding this season, leading the Knicks to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.

With one of her favorite players facing a Texas team, which team do you think Paige Bueckers would support in the NBA Finals? Let us know in the comments.
